Legacy for a Lifetime

post_tori_frontThe Japanese word denshō (伝承) means “to pass on to future generations.” There are a number of organizations that help us remember our heritage including the JACL (Japanese American Citizen’s League (jacl.org) and Densho (densho.org). There are also numerous local chapters of the JACL that can be seen on Facebook and other social media platforms. Check out Salt Lake City JACL and the Mt. Olympus JACL chapter on Facebook.

There are so still numerous publications that remind us of our heritage such as the local “Utah JA News” and the Pacific Citizen (www.pacificcitizen.org)

As our community grows, expands and because more diverse the National JACL Credit Union’s goal is continue to pass on our strong core values to future generations and to help keep our community working together.

Providing our members with affordable financing into the future is necessary to protect them from large financial institutions “maximizing profits” at our expense.

The Credit Union alternative is a valuable asset to us as well as our future generation.
